Pete, Dan,

What is the overall anticipated mileage from the Hotel in Kent and back to the UK?

Hi Stu,
I'd say around about 2850 miles from Kent to Kent would be about right, give or take 100 miles.
Assuming you don't take any extra detours of course, like Davedavedave did last year...

I will be happy to take some luggage when I meet up with you in Germany.

Have you tried these?

cheers Paul - surprising a lot of room in the car - reckon I could fit a couple of pairs of pants and socks - what more do you need....ahhh fuel the potential achilles heel. 2ltr K series a little thirsty combined with a 25 ltr tank...... what could possibly go wrong :D

Yes, I didn't get more than around 200 miles out of the 1.6 k series Supersport 135. Probably about the same from the M2 if pressing on :-)

Have you got earplugs / radio earpiece for the motorway sections?

I must be going deaf as I quite like the sound. I am assuming standard head phone will work on the radio.
