Pete and Dan,

Thank you for organising and running this new and improved tour of the Alps and Pyrenees. Fantastic roads, amazing hotels, stunning scenery, great fun and excellent travelling companions, old friends and new.

An excellent time was had with a few unplanned incidents - tyre issues etc - all of which will enrich the talk over the bar in recounting.

To all of my travelling companions that I didn't manage to catch before we left the ferry - thank you for making this a superb tour, thank you for your assistance and companionship and I look forward to seeing you again on another adventure or at Jacks Hill.

Guys - Brilliant tour, brilliant people, brilliant roads and brilliant organisation. I'm struggling to find a suitable single, word that sums up the whole experience...

It was excellent having a mini-reunion with the Guernsey Massive in Le Mans 2 days later.

Received some battle-damage going over a speed bump in Chambord that rivalled Mont Ventoux in size, scraped the lower sill underside for a good few feet.

Got home and performance-modded my car by removing around 20KG of weight by picking out all the tar stones from around the alloys!

Really superb meeting everybody. On to the next one...

Totally agree with the above. What a great Tour! Seriously well done to Pete on the route planning, awesome roads and (apparently) scenery.

Great people and banter and some seriously memorable drives.

Looking forward to the next one and a few scoops beforehand too

Christian

PS - "DORIS, 3 o'clock"

Christian!

My GoPro can confirm that there was, indeed, scenery beyond the confines of the limit point analysis view.
No confirmation on the Doris count or position, sadly.

I shall edit the best bits together and post up somehow.

I miss staring at your lovely rear end. And your car.

Cheers

Glenn
