Can I float up the idea of swinging by Modena and throwing in a factory tour at Pagani/Lamborghini/Ferrari?

Not a bad idea - but it does add to the time cost.

Nearest decent roads would add half a day to get to Supercar Valley, then you need at least a day to do justice to those three facilities (Pagani in particular, their new place is stunning) and then another half day or more to get back to the good roads. So minimum 2 days of "not fun driving".

But then it has been a few years since we've been there on a public tour...
