Bi-monthly UK meet

Post by verysideways »

Hi everyone,

We're planning on starting a bi-monthly meet somewhere reasonably central in the UK (like Silverstone) which enables lots of people to have a fun (early morning) drive on a Saturday or Sunday, ending with a decent slap up breakfast :)

Would you prefer a Saturday or Sunday morning?
Do you have any suggestions on location?

Silverstone is good as it's nice and central for everyone and not London centric!

Or Gaydon?

Saturday or Sunday is good for me generally, Silverstone works also.

London (inside M25) is a rubbish place for car meets on a weekday evening IMO.

Chance of getting one in before Christmas/New year Pete?

Being this late in November and with the silly season looming i wouldn't expect lots of people to make one at such short notice - but there's no reason why we couldn't have a "test run" for the committed :-)

Jacks Hill Cafe - also on the A5 - doesn't appear to have a regular Sunday meet.
