Ireland ’17

“The Emerald Isle” – truly a green and pleasant land.

What better way to explore the beauty of Ireland than by road, in your own car, and staying in luxurious accommodation (4*) throughout.

Our route takes in sections used for the Circuit Of Ireland Rally and also parts of the increasingly well known Wild Atlantic Way.

Summary:
Sunday – Arrive around midday for check-in at the ferry terminal in Fishguard (in South Wales) for our afternoon sailing to Rosslare in Ireland. After a few hours on the boat, we’ll head out of Rosslare and up to Wexford for our first night, in a grand hotel overlooking the River Slaney.

Monday – After breakfast we have our first drivers’ briefing before heading out across the Irish countryside. Waterford to Killarney via the Ring of Kerry, and staying at “Ireland’s best 4 star hotel” (according to Fáilte Ireland).

Tuesday – Killarney to Galway. Today we follow the west coast, passing Dingle and Castlegregory on our way to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. Our accommodation for the night is in the grounds of the magnificent Ashford Castle, and frankly we’d be perfectly happy to just stay here for a few days!
