Brittany ’26

We’re going back to Brittany! It’s been many years since we last ran a tour there but it’s time to return.

Brittany is so close to the UK yet is blessed with French roads and weather, along with some tremendous views along the Pink Granite Coast and some highlights along the way… including the home of the World Rallycross Championship at Loheac, and the famous circuit at La Sarthe, home to the 24hrs of Le Mans.

Itinerary:
Monday – We’re starting on a Monday evening with an optional dinner near Portsmouth before we fill up with fuel and board the overnight ferry to St Malo.

Tuesday – Once we’re off the ferry we’ll head west along the northern coast of Brittany, passing near to Mont St Michel and visiting the famous Pink Granite Coast before finally passing Morlaix to reach our hotel, complete with its own Michelin starred restaurant.

Wednesday – Today we’ll head south east following the coast again, although in and out of the forests and hills of this area, heading towards our sustainable eco hotel near Nantes. It even has its own private beach, just a short walk down the garden.

Thursday – We begin the day by heading east and stopping at the home of the World Rallycross Championship at Loheac, complete with an amazing on-site museum full of rally cars, Ferraris, boats, planes, and various other stunning pieces of automobilia.

After the museum we’ll continue east to reach our hotel near Le Mans. Yes, that Le Mans.

Friday – We’ll start the day with a lap of the public road section of the Le Mans 24 hour circuit, before we head north and back to the coast. Some wonderful drives through the hills again, eventually leading us back to Caen/Ouistreham for dinner before boarding the boat back to Blighty.

Saturday – disembark in Portsmouth first thing on Saturday morning and head home to enjoy the rest of your weekend – and maybe give your car a wash…
